as you might have seen in our recent posts, we harvest most all of the spring greens on the roof with the help of Crown Heights Farm Share volunteers…
we were able to harvest over 70lbs of greens which was totaled 45 individual gallon ziplock bags…it was really annoying to wash and package, but we got it done…
the salad greens were then donated to a church in Crown Heights the next day and they reported that 45 families were able to take bags of extremely local, definitely organic vegetables home…
this is why we do what we do…
